The sheer number of people who signed up for a health plan through the public exchanges – more than 8 million – has cemented in the minds of health plans that both the ACA and the marketplaces are here to stay.
It’s no surprise that some of the larger national plans that took a cautious approach to exchanges are now signaling an expanded role.
